M2 high-speed steel is a tungsten-molybdenum tool steel. M2 is characterised by well-balanced toughness, wear resistance and red hardness properties.

AISI M2 high-speed steel has largely replaced T1 in most applications due to its superior properties and advantageous pricing. M2 is medium-alloyed and is a good all-round performer with good machinability, in this respect it is superior to the high alloyed cold work steels.

Applications:

1. Machining tools,eg.drill bits,milling,cutters,screw dies,broaches,inserts for circular saw blades.

2. Slotting tools and wood working tools.

(1) Delivery condition:Annealed,milled/turned surface

(2) Process:Electric furnace melted,ladle refined and vacuum degassed.

(3) UT Class:SEP 1921/84,Group 3,100% volume,level D/d、E/e.

(4) Grain size:≥5  

(5) Hardness:≤ HB250

(6) Allowance on quantity/weight:-/+10% per item.

(7) Delivery Port:Wuhan/Shanghai/Huangshi port.

(8) Delivery time: 45 days for forged materials,and 75 days for rolled materials.

(9) Payment term:30% in advance and balance will be paid against copy of BL.

(10) Price validity:7 days
