Use of NC6 tool steel
As already mentioned, hardened NC6 steel finds a number of applications in many different areas. It is used primarily for the production of cutting and cutting tools, taps, dies, profile drills, reamers, cutters and inserts. It is also used to create pipe-drawing tools, in the manufacture of cutting plates, blanking dies, woodworking tools and measuring instruments. For this reason, it is used by production plants, lathes, grinding shops, and many other industrial companies.
